Positions were grouped based on level of responsibility/job duties, as well as education requirements.

  • Level 15
    Cooks, Aides, Custodian, Teacher in Training & Assistant Teacher No Degree
    (There are different steps within the level based on attainment of CDA for classroom staff)

  • Level 20
    Office Support, Social Service, Assistant Teacher
    (There are different steps within the level for entry and with related Degree)

  • Level 25
    Lead Teacher/CFSA
    (There are different steps for Bachelors versus Associates)

  • Level 30
    Center Manager/Specialist I, Indirect Department Assistant
    (There are different steps within the level based on Degree and center size if applicable)

  • Level 35
    Administrator/Specialist II
    (These positions all require specialized education)

  • Level 40
    Assistant Director/Senior Assistant Director

  • Level 45
    Head Start Director
